 The Snehapoorvam scholarship is available to students whose mother or father or both have died. The amount of the award ranges between Rs.3000/- - to Rs. 10,000 each year. It is a Snehapoorvam scholarship provided by the Social Security Mission of the State Govt as financial assistance to educate children whose mother or father or both are deceased. It's Rs.3000annually for children under 5 years old and students in the 1st-5th standard. 

Snehapoorvam Scholarship Scheme for Orphan Students

From 6th to 10th grade students can receive Rs.5000 annually and Rs. 7500 per year for students who are enrolled in two or equivalent courses. Rs. 10000 or more is offered as a grant to students enrolled in professional or degree-granting courses.

Snehapoorvam Scholarship Instructions

This opportunity is open to students from government or aid-funded institutions only. Orphanage students are not eligible for this grant. In the case of applicants, those in the BPL category would receive preference. (certificate and a copy of ration card must be presented) For the APL category, the annual earnings should not exceed Rs. 20,000 or more. For people who live in cities, it may be as high as Rs.22,375or. The income certificate of the revenue officer needs to be presented to prove this.

A joint account for students and their parents with any of the national banks is required. A copy of the passbook where the images of the two (join the account holders) are pasted is included with the application. The Aadhar card used by the student is also submitted in the application.

Snehapoorvam Memorial Scholarship How to Apply?

The application should be made together with all the documents required in the study institution. The institution's head is required to verify this before uploading the application online for submission. the application. Children younger than 5 years old may submit applications that are recommended to the District Child Welfare Committee in person. The deadline for application submission is December 16, 2022.
