For scholarship seekers who register on the National Scholarship Portal, there are 118 scholarship programs worth hundreds of millions. It is considered a ‘Mission Mode Project” under the National e-Governance Plan. According to data for the academic year 2022-2223, NSP helped the government disburse scholarships in excess of INR 2,800 crores (INR 28,75.50). More than 127 Lakh applications have been submitted to the platform, with more than 84 Lakh of them being verified.
